Quake (2015)

 If you had stayed

Perchance you too would be affected

I'd have looked for you from far away

And been disappointed not to know

If you would still exist

Or else,I'd have been the one

Trying to drag out your broken body

From under those broken rocks

I lived those days with your name on my lips

Like a prayer

A religion, not merely a dare

But where be that name today

Those houses of Faith ?

You've gone away

Built yourself your own magic tower

With your prince and left us all behind …

These pieces, these paths

Will never feel your steps again

And yet…

If you would have stayed

Amidst all the carnage

The flowers would still have bloomed.
